Working with the London Museum, we captured the character of Smithfield in preparation for the museum’s new location opening in the area in 2026.

Shot on 16mm Bolex, our team decided to film the modern visuals of Smithfield following a narration derived from the classic tale of Oliver Twist exploring the area. This connects the history and present livelihood of the area, preserving the rustic character of the location while welcoming modern growth.
